My first post is going to be about me. My name is Chance. I am a seventeen year old Liberal who lives in Oklahoma. I admit I am in the minority but I still have the right to speak out. At times, it does suck being surrounded by Republicans and conservative Democrats. Anyways, I have been interested in politics since a very young age. I knew something was wrong when I would be watching the news while other kids my age were watching basketball or baseball. Many of my family members have went on to become politicians, mainly in tribal government (I am a Chickasaw indian) but two of my cousins became Governors of Oklahoma.

I really started to get interested in politics in 2000. Gore was basically screwed out of the Presidency so I decided to get active. I volunteered for my first campaign in 2002. I worked for my State Senator and then I helped the Governor but sometimes I wonder if it was really worth it. They both seem to be riding on the backs of the Republicans. I volunteered again in 2004 for Kerry and as we all know, he lost. I will stop running my mouth now but THANKS for reading.
